Dear Friend,

It seems to me,
Theres a change to be.
You see, there is no doubt
Plastic and paper are out.

So what can we do?
Ask me and you.
We need something new,
To make a statement or two.

Well make a cool bag,
And take it to the store,
And inconvenience ourselves,
Maybe a minute, no more.

So a change in lifestyle,
Its not so drastic,
Just be inconvenient,

Just saving the world one bag at a time!

Sincerely,
Marc J. Sahara, JD, MBA

To create, market and distribute natural designer environmental bags, or The Inconvenient Bag. The wasteful culture of paper and plastic has more harmful repercussions on an individual’s wallet, neighborhood, waterways, habitat and our children’s future than the minuscule one-time convenience aforementioned bags may bring.

They destroy our wildlife and pollute our cities. The consequences outweigh the benefits. These bags are a thing of the past they are so yesterday.

Our mission is to educate people and change their behavior in an effort to decrease, prevent and eliminate the single use paper or plastic bag in a really, really cool way. Our bags, in reality, are inconvenient, and we happen to think that it is very cool to be inconvenient.

Therefore, be inconvenient paper nor plastic. If you bring your own bag, you are saving our world!

The Inconvenient Bag Companys long-term goal is to be the industry leader and standard for reusable market/retail bags, and to make bringing one's own bag to the store a common way of life. We would like our bags to not just carry the environmentally-friendly message, but also to be designed in a manner that would be unique and stylish.

In short, our goal is to grow and be a common household name in markets and retailers locally, nationally and internationally. We believe that if done right, with the right attitude and company image, we will procure a positive change to an individual’s lifestyle.

As environmentalists, we do not want to be perceived as negative, weird, angry or threatening. We have found that there is somewhat of a negative public perception of environmentalists as extreme activists. That may be one approach.

However, our approach is different. We want to make caring for our planet to be fun, not a chore. It can be cool and fashionable, but unlike certain trends, we believe that our message will not go out of style. We strive to design our bags in a manner that would make people want to carry it, not have to carry it.

We would like to establish an international brand name and be recognized as a positive influence in the inevitable change of lifestyle.

Our business philosophy is simple we are trying to save the world one bag at a time! We can argue about how many tons of landfill are accounted for by plastic bags, or how many seals and dolphins suffer a slow and painful death after ingesting bags, but we cannot avoid the conclusion that if we want to live in a society that generates as little waste as possible, we must act in areas where we are able to act.

We want to have a business image of a company that did the right thing, and acted when nobody else would.

We believe that we are not victims of our own doing as a result of our consumerist society. Instead, of the "cant help it" attitude, our company wants to empower people to do the right thing, and feel good about carrying our product around Its a statement that says: "I care and Im cool. "How about you?".

We want our bags to be "the in thing" with respect to fashion (to be up with the latest trend). However, we never will forget our underlying business theme that we are trying to save our world by cutting down the use and consumption of single-use paper or plastic bags.

Many people do not know that there is a problem, which will soon be a main government issue. Moreover, many people do not know what they can do. There will soon be taxes or surcharges on bags at grocery stores and retail stores. More importantly, the continued use of these bags will impose an undesired environmental impact upon all of us (as our consumption of paper and plastic bags per year is in the trillions).

People need a solution, but do not want to be forced or bullied. The Inconvenient Bag is a solution and using it is also really, really cool. People will feel good about doing whats right, and they will understand that the Inconvenient Lifestyle is taking over the wasteful convenient and destructive lifestyle that is now totally out-of-date.

We are a part of a grass roots movement it starts with you and me.
